I am versed in a variety of empirically supported treatments such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Processing (CPT), and work with you to choose a treatment that will bring about the best results for you. I believe therapy is a true collaboration, in which together we identify the problem, set goals, and develop a plan to reach your goals. I provide a safe, supportive, caring environment in which you are an active participant in your therapy, learning new skills with which to approach the issues you are facing.
Assessment
I make use of the scientifically validated CAT-MH™ as one of my assessment tools. This type of assessment gives the accuracy and precision of much longer assessments in a fraction of the time and allows me to understand how a client is doing.
